Board of Directors Awards

The Board of Directors Award recognizes and honors MCA-I members who have demonstrated outstanding service to MCA-I on a regional or national level, without regard to personal profit or gain.

These volunteers have given tirelessly of their time and expertise and exemplify the ideal of "doing well by doing good." They have served MCA-I with great distinction and the President gratefully acknowledges the contributions of these valuable volunteers.

Qualifications

• Member in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of MCA-I service in an official capacity
• Participation in either regional or national level of MCA-I
• Has made a significant contribution to the betterment of MCA-I
• Members of the Board of Directors are ineligible for the award during their term of office.

Nomination Procedure

• Candidates for the award can only be nominated by the Board of Directors.
• Recommendations for candidates are solicited from the Forum of Presidents, and other appropriate bodies. Recommendations must be accompanied by evidence
  (written or other supporting materials)
  
  that the candidate has met the above listed criteria.
• Award recipient(s)
  
  will be selected by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
