41st Annual MCA-I Media Festival Winners Announced

The winners of the 41st Annual MCA-I Media Festival have been announced. Congratulations to our profession's brightest stars. As usual, the quality of all of our Golden, Silver and Bronze Awards is outstanding. As a benefit of membership, MCA-I Members may view the winning entries online in the Media Festival Gallery. The Golden Reel celebrates excellence in media communications. The name stands for creativity and advancement in technical applications. Since 1978, Golden Reel honors have been highly coveted and recognized internationally for their prestige.

This year the nearly 90 entries were judged through an online competition. While technology has advanced, the process proved somewhat of a deterrent to some who wished to enter. Additionally, feedback on the online judging process, which is traditionally a time for media professionals to gather face-to-face, indicated a return to a more traditional festival for the near future.

What will be different is that all entries in the 41st MCA-I Media Festival will be hosted online and available to members on demand for at least a year, thanks to Multicast’s Media Suite.
