2008 Shining Star Awards - Call for Entries 

MCA-I's International Shining Star Awards program is now accepting nominations for the 2008 awards. The submission deadline is October 1, 2008.

The MCA-I International Shining Star program recognizes chapter leaders who have made significant contributions to the chapter. They stand out above all of the rest of the members, demonstrating service to their MCA-I chapter without regard to personal gain or profit.

International Examples: The chapter Treasurer who corrected the books after several years of neglect; the project leader or committee chair who successfully lead a major chapter project, such as the media festival, redesign of the chapter website, produced a PSA using volunteers, led a chapter related community outreach program, or led a chapter membership drive.

International Process: Nomination forms are available at mca-i.org under Festivals/Awards, Shining Star Awards or by mailing a request to membership@mca-i.org. They are reviewed by a committee of international leaders. Each chapter may submit a maximum of two nominations during a calendar year.
