Media Festival Rules and Entry Process

This years MCA-I Media Festival will coincide with the annual MCA-I ProTrack Conference to be held in the fall of 2008. You may use the Online Entry Form to enter your best work - MCA-I Media Festival Entry Form. Or you may use the PDF Entry Form Eligibility Programs entered in the festival must be produced by a media communications professional or by a production company. Entrants must own and/or have clearance for all visual and audio elements (including music) in the program. All entries on behalf of a client must be submitted with written authorization from the client. Each program from a series is considered a separate entry. Entries which have advanced to Blue Ribbon Panels of prior festivals are not eligible. Entries are not limited to programs produced in the previous calendar year. Media Communications Association – International (MCA-I) is 40 years old. Becoming MCA-I . . . MCA-I was founded as the National Industrial Television Association (NITA) by Thomas F. Hatcher, Harry Kaemmerer, Merrill Lent, and Dr. Edwin Moenckmeier, and registered in the State of New Jersey as a 501 (c) (6) association on April 3, 1970. Its first home office was in Morris, NJ. MCA-I Organizational Memberships

Organizational Memberships

This category is designed for any corporation, company, educational organization or agency choosing to assign three employees from the same business and location as members. The membership belongs to the organization, which has the right to choose and transfer individual membership within the company. Unlimited additional employees may be added on at a reduced rate. The online Application for Group Memberships is in final development - please click here to download the Application Form that includes Individual, Organizational and Commercial Memberships.

Educators - MCA-I is also now offering institutions a Group Student Membership. There are several options available taking advantage of the Organizational Membership.

1) 1 faculty full membership and 16 floating students (limited benefits)
2) 2 faculty full memberships and 8 floating students (limited benefits)
3) 8 more floating students or an additional faculty member may be added for a reduced rate.

The faculty member is a full member and receives all the benefits of MCA-I membership. The floating students may attend local chapter meetings as student members, under the teacher's membership. Floating students are not full members, but are eligible for discounts when entering the MCA-I Media Festival or attending MCA-I ProTrack™.
